I have been wiritng my business plan of online hotel. I think this could make a lot of money when Singapore integrated resorts up. I could say that the return would greatly outweight the costs. This online website service would generate profit through online hotel reservation service, advertising and other online reservation businesses. I would have to put forth about US$100,000 dollars worth (rough estimate), which would include all start up costs and etcs. After I have finished with the business plans, I will be in pursuit of investors? Where should I look for them? How should I contact them?

I made a reservation online for a hotel room in Las Vegas with my VISA debit card. I cancelled the reservation within 48 hrs of the ACH hitting my account. The vendor states that my credit owed, minus the standard cancellation fee, would take 30 business days yet the vendor’s site states that they will match and credit (at their discretion) any Best Price Guarantee that is found, within 7-10 business days once a reservation is booked online. Why can’t the vendor process my credit within the same amount of time as their “Best Price Guarantee”? The vendor gets his cancellation fee but is allowed up to 30 days to return my credit while collecting interest on my funds in the vendor’s account over a 30 day period of time? Isn’t that considered “Double-dipping”?

What if you already paid them online and when you arrived the hotel and front desk clerk willl tell you that there are no reservations under your name?

Things to remember when making hotel reservations:?

1) Do not yell, call names or act bitchy or rude because we will not help you. Being nice pays off big time..
2) Do not call if you are in the hotel parking lot, when you can walk in and make a reservation at the front desk..
3) If you have a confirmation number do not call to confirm your reservation, because they do not disappear…
4) Do not call and say you are in a hurry because remember if you were really in a hurry you would not be calling…
5) Do not call and say you are online looking at the hotel because why are you calling when you can make it in online?
6) If you are calling a 1-800 number, do not ask surprised, annoyed if you are asked the city. because remember you are calling a 1-800 number..
7) Do not call to cancel an advance purchase and expect to get a refund, it will not happen..
Do not call without a credit card…
