21 years or older to book a hotel reservation in Maryland?

My boyfriend of 3 years lives in Colorado and is finally driving down here to Maryland in July to spend some time with me. He is only 18 though and I was curious to know if you have to at LEAST be 21 to book a hotel reservation in Maryland. Lastnight him and I were looking at hotels online at “hotwire.com” and it asked for the primary’s name which said they must be 21 years old with proper ID at check-in…Any answers??? Thanks <3

    It probably depends on the hotel’s policies. It would vary from hotel to hotel.

    It depends on the specific hotel - sometimes it’s 18 and sometimes it’s 21. I would check with the specific hotel and make sure what their rule is. Also I don’t think they check TOO carefully - it’s not like buying alcohol, it’s not a specific law it’s just the individual hotel’s policy, so as long as you look responsible then they probably won’t check.
